Well Received at Macon International Film Festival!

On the plane from Georgia to New York this Sunday, I realized that I’d been judging “the South” according to a set of ill-defined and unfair preconceptions my whole life. I thank the Macon International Film Festival for waking me up to the reality: that Georgia is a beautiful state with beautiful people, steeped in history and tradition.

The festival itself was a pleasure to attend, and I’m happy to report that “Sheol” was very well received, described by many as “the standout” of its screening block! Thanks to all who caught “Sheol” at the Douglass.
